4- months

Huirou is now 4 months old. She has now made a number of developmental milestones and I am happy that she now

1. weighs 6.1 kg (+ 0.55) She must be taller now too, coz she can now look over her carrier.
2. Can turn from back to belly consistently. at the same time lifting her head doing mini push ups
3. Can take rest in between her push-up sessions.
4. Also loves to nap on her tummy. so cute.
5. Has a new nursing habit. Which is to nurse, look at me, nurse, look around.... So now she takes longer to finish ...
6. On top of th oohs and aahs and ees that she has been doing for some time. She can do the 'b' sound. so Hubs thinks that she will say "papa" before "mama". Ish
7. Knows how to squeal in delight when in play or tickled. She really does love playtime.
8. Can "invite" us to chat -- more on that later
9. Can bring her hands together in the "Gongxi Facai" pose.
10. Consumes 4 oz of expressed milk at a go ( up 1 oz from previous)
11. Graduated up 1 diaper size since last week.


Huirou have developed rather well physically, emotionally and socially. She is getting less clingy, needing less hugging times, resulting in less complaints from her daycare provider. She hardly cries and has never given me any trouble at bedtime. My baby is such a good baby, no?
